Frank Carbajal (Silver Creek)

Author and Silicon Valley Community Activist

Author of Building The Latino Future, Organizer and facilitator of annual Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit, Community activist, Organizer and leader

Kelly Clarke (W.C. Overfelt)

Space Exploration Scientist

Graduated magna cum laude and studied computer science at UC Berkeley, followed by a Masters from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. Joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab in 2000 working on MER, Cassini, Spitzer Space Telescope, Galileo, Voyager and Mars Exploration Rover Mission. Role model to women in science and math.

Regina Clewlow (Silver Creek)

Sustainability Leader, Ph.D.

Focused on reducing poverty and improving global sustainability. Established non-profit Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) to reduce poverty in. the world’s developing countries. Recipient of the MIT Energy Fellowship, MIT Martin Family Sustainability Fellowship, Dwight Eisenhower Graduate Transportation Fellowship and EPA STAR Graduate Fellowship.

Dr. James Delgado (Santa Teresa)

Maritime Archaeologist, PHD

Director of Maritime Heritage, Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, President & CEO, Institute of Nautical Archaeology, Executive Director, Vancouver Maritime Museum, Maritime Historian of the National Park Service.

Melissa Dyrdahl (Piedmont Hills)

Silicon Valley Business Leader

Technology Marketing expert, currently the VP of Marketing at Pivotal Labs producing software for Twitter, Salesforce.com, and TaskRabbit. Principal at Korora Partners. Co-founder of Bring Light, an online fundraising site to facilitate project-based giving.

Darcie Green (James Lick)

Trustee, Santa Clara County Board of Education and Public Service Leader

Trustee, Santa Clara County Board of Education, 2012-present; Trustee, Alum Rock Union Elementary School District, 2010–2012; Board Member, Vision New America, 2012-present; Board Member, California Latino School Boards Association, 2011–present

Christine Lovely (W.C. Overfelt)

Attorney

Specializing in educational law representing public school districts, special education and personnel
Appointed as University Counsel for California State University. Worked for Sacramento County Office of Education, the Public Employment Relations Board and private practice.

Alex Muñoz (Andrew Hill)

Author and Director/Filmmaker

Founder of FYI (Films by Youth Inside), a non-profit that teaches video production to incarcerated youth. Directed numerous commercials and premiered a short film at the Sundance film festival. Participated in the Directors initiative of the CBS Diversity Institute.

Dora Padilla (W.C. Overfelt)

Workers’ Compensation Judge and Managing Law Partner

Received Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School. Managing partner at Padilla Law Firm and appointed to a Workers’ Compensation Judge in 2001. Joined Faculty of Lincoln Law School in 2002.

Viet Pham (Independence)

Chef, Restaurateur and Food Network Celebrity

Owner of Forage Restaurant in Salt Lake City. Season 9 Finalist on Food Network Star, Runner up on Extreme Chef and beat Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America.

Lloyd Pierce (Yerba Buena)

NBA Assistant Coach

Assistant coach in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies. Also coached Golden State Warriors and coached LeBron James with Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jerry Soriano (James Lick)
